    Fishing on this big lake (14,000 acres; 5,670 hectares) can be very good but sporadic at times. There is good fishing during duckfly, olives, mayflies and sedges periods throughout the season. There is a big network of boat hire and angling guides available at all centres around the lake. The fishing is free and there is a 12-inch (30.48 cm) size limit for brown trout. The season runs from 15th of February until the 30th of September with the best period during the months of May, June and September. All legitimate angling methods allowed.
