Rathbeggan Lakes

Rathbeggan lakes is a well managed put and take fishery which is located in the sloping valley of the River Tolka.The main lake which covers an area of 4 acres is spring fed as is its smaller counterpart. Regular stocking of hand selected rainbow trout from 2lbs in weight ensures excellent flyfishing. This fishery is open all year round. Tackle is available for hire and tuition and casting instruction can be found on site. There is also facilities to cater for disabled anglers.

How to get there

From Dublin: Taking junction 6 from the M50 at Blanchardstown heading north on the N3, the fishery is signposted at exactly 8.5 miles. Turn left at the signpost and follow the narrow roadway for .5 of a mile straight to the fishery entrance.

From Dunshaughlin, Navan: Heading south on the N3 in the direction of Dublin take the signposted right turn for the fishery 3.5 miles past Dunshaughlin( and less than .5 milepast the Country Club pub and restaurant).
