Peter has been based in the West Cork town of Clonakilty since 1996 and is a marine and countryside tour guide specializing in angling. Fishing is done amidst the prolific and scenic backdrop of Clonakilty bay from a boat that is suitable for either one or two anglers. The boat is ideal for the lure angler and fly rodder alike where long drifts can be achieved and  fished using “loch style” methods. It is also equipped with a trolling motor to search the shoreline and reefs for resident bass.
He is also a keen salmon angler (fly) and is the guide on the Kilcoleman stretch of the River Bandon. Also he is a member of the Bandon Angling Association and the Balineen/Enniskeane fishing clubs. With good knowledge of both stretches he could be an asset if you are fishing any of these waters for the first time.

Notes: The Bandon River flows through The Kilcoleman Park Estate which totals 240 acres of park and agricultural land. Kilcoleman Fishery is privately owned and totals 1.2 miles. We also have access to a further 3 miles of private water 6 miles up stream from Kilcoleman. There are ten named salmon pools. There are also excellent stocks of wild brown trout which average 12ozs with over 1lbs not unusual. Tackle hire and small tackleshop on site.
