Notes: We at Claddagh Charters provide sightseeing boat trips, sea angling classes day or half day. The 'Anserina ' caters for up to 12 anglers for full and half day trips. All rods and tackle are provided onboard and all ages are catered for. The fishing grounds off county clare or the aran islands is the best location, here you will have the opportunity to catch shark, cod, pollock, conger eel just to name a few. Whitewater II

Base: Spiddal Operational area: Galway Bay. Leaving from Barna, Spiddal and Rossaveal, no more than 15 miles from point of departure and 3 miles from land.

Notes: Whitwater II is the fastest charter in Galway Bay, capable of 24 knots and cruises at 19 knots. Specializing in Blue Shark and Tope fishing other species on offer include ballan wrasse, cod, pollack, dogfish, ray, conger, skate and sea bass, just to name a few! All rods and tackle are provided for your convenience.

Notes: Blue Water’s skipper John Brittain has over 15 years experience of fishing the waters from Aran Islands to Achil Head on Irelands west coast catching Bluefin Tuna to over 800lbs Blue Shark to 150 lbs Common Skate, Ling, Conger, Turbot, Ray and many others. Our fishing is mostly done over the many reefs, drop offs and sandy banks in the deep clean waters off the Galway coast. Groups or individuals, experts or beginners are all welcome and there is a full range of tackle available for hire on board. Notes: The fishing grounds lie between Slyne Head to the south and Achill Head to the north, providing a wonderful variety and choice of marks, depending on conditions. The season runs from April to October and during this time we fish Conger, Ling, Ray, Pollack and a variety of other species. The season for Blue Shark is from July through to September and the Blue-Fin Tuna runs from September to October.

Notes: Drift fishing over reefs yields Pollack, Ling, Cod, Coalfish, Wrasse and Mackerel and many others. Anchoring up and bottom fishing targets Ray and other flatfish. Over 20 different species can be caught and many groups thoroughly enjoy "Species Hunt" competitions. Blue shark are caught regularly and porbeagle can also be found.

Notes: The Brazen Hussy is a 2009 built catamaran and is exceptionally stable. We have a 60 mile license and therefore can travel right out to the edge of the Continental Shelf and the deep water beyond. We also undertake a variety of other pursuits such as Island Touring, Whale & Dolphin watching, viewing seabird colonies and scuba diving.
